    Hi Beryl

Thank you so much for introducing this product to me. As you know I started my dog on the allergy treatment on 26 Nov last year
By 2 weeks of using it, there was some difference as she wasn’t scratching herself on her tummy as she used before

She completed this treatment 6th Jan 2017 and her fur has grown back, the red rush has disappeared and the itching completely gone. I have bought another allergy formula last week just to have it onsite at home in case I need it for my other dogs in future

To be honest I can’t pick any one of your products as my oldest female is on the joint fomular as she used to battle with her hips it has worked wonders, my youngest female is on the allergy fomular for her skin she used to get itchy dry spots and now she hasn’t had one spot since being on allergy fomular. We also use serenity when there are thunder storms or during festive seasons for the fireworks. all our dogs also get everypet as a everyday supplement. Your products are all amazing.

Our German Shepherd has periods, depending on the season, when he is very allergic. He is scratching so much then, that he doesn’t know what to do anymore. We started with the allergy formula, double dosage, and after a week we noticed the results. He is scratching so much less and is a happier dog now! Thanks for the great product!

I actually bought the Allergy formula for my little sausage dog who had a very itchy skin, and she lost a lot of her hair in certain areas.

But I am happy to say that she is looking great and the constant scratching has stopped too. I gave a friend the last 1/4 of the formula to try as their Lab also has a very similar problem to what my Lola had. And it is also helping their dog

It really does work!! She’s already been on it for a month and it’s been amazing… Jane (the dog) has been on cortisone almost all 3yrs of her existence plus special food etc etc but one month on this and she is no longer inflamed or itching all the time plus no more cortisone and she eats normal dog food now!
It’s changed her life (and mine).

This year I started my dog on your allergy formula before her seasonal flare up to see if I could avoid the yearly inevitable vets bills and poor Foof’s agony . Well we are well and truly into winter now (she usually starts showing symptoms as early as February) and there has been absolutely NO hint of her allergies thus far!

    Hallo Beryl

I went to order the Allergy Formula 200g for my dog, but I have been told from this ‘outlet’ Shop in Somerset West that you do not get the 200gram’s anymore but only a 500g. Is that correct? you do not supply anymore in the 200grams? I thought as your website mentioned I could get a 200grams to see if my dog is ok on it but a 500grams is quite a lot for me and more expensive. Can you please advice if that is correct or in this ‘outlet’ shop just telling a story?

    Hallo Beryl

I have a Boder Collie, she is 7 this year. For the first time she has a skin problem. We took her about two months ago to a doggie parlour, came back with fleas!!, and then the scratching started. We give her raw garlic, so fleas are better but not solved. She is loosing hair from all the scratching and biting and the older she gets, the more nervous or rather anxious she gets. She gets more than enough excercise. She has been swimming a lot lately, something new for her, could that also give her skin problems being a Collie and known for sensitive skin?

    • beryl
      12th January 2014 at 8:09 am · Reply

Hi Anita. The first step will be to get rid of the fleas. You will unfortunately have to use something stronger than garlic. Try one of the sprays like Frontline or a Spot on product. I understand your preference for herbs, and I agree, but it looks as if you have quite a big problem which will require medication. Once you’ve done that, her condition might get better on its own. If not, try the Allergy Formula – she might’ve developed an allergic reaction. Let me know how it goes please?

My DBV rifrug was vir baie lank op kortisoon – gedurige jeuk, haarverlies.

Hi there, my dog Rusty developed a hotspot on his tail about 3 months ago. I took him to the vet who gave him a cortisone injection and basically told me theres nothing more I can do exept to try and identify what exactly he is allergic to. He constantly licks his paws and “elbows”. I have changed his food (he is now on Vets Choice Sensitive) and with the winter he has shown a small improvement but he is still licking a lot. Would the allergy formula be a good option to try, do you think?

Tania, your vet is correct in that, to identify the source of the allergy is best. But I know for a fact how difficult that is. Definitely try the Allergy Formula. It is natural and safe and will only do good. And it is highly effective in these cases.

I bought the Alllergy Formula from Essential Harmony, and am putting 4 teaspoons in Oscar’s food every day (my other small dog Holly also eats this).
I am feeding him a diet of boiled eggs or cooked fish with potatoes or brown rice.
He is more active now and is making progress as his skin is better than before and he is not scratching, so I am hoping that it will heal completely.

I have found that the animals using it for skin conditions have responded very well. Obviously there are many varying factors affecting skin allergies but the people sticking strictly to the various diets recommended by the vets, have had the best response in conjunction with the Allergy Mix. My own dogs have responded very well, winter is definitely better and going into summer I expect them to be greatly improved. With some dogs you may never take the itch away completely, but any reduction in the scratching or the need for medication is a positive result for me. We have consulted several specialist and homeopathic vets and it is essential to follow their guidelines when dealing with skin allergies if you want the best results – and your product in combination with their advice is very effective.

I adopted a 4 month old rescue kitten last year and since I’ve had him, he has had a dry, crusty, VERY itchy rash around his neck and under his chin. The vet said it was a flea allergy (which I think is standard diagnosis!) and gave him cortisone which helped for a little while until it wore off and we were back to square 1. I have tried a few products without too much success, until finding this. The first day he wasn’t terribly amused at having this alien powdery stuff mixed into his food, but gave in and ate it anyway. Well it’s been almost 3 weeks now, and there is hardly a sore there and he is a much more pleasant cat (was quite “grumpy” before and I can totally understand why!). Thank you so much for this fab product. I have been spreading the word with everyone (and I’m involved in animal welfare). Do you think it will ever be possible to stop giving it to him?

    • beryl
      18th July 2012 at 4:22 pm · Reply

Shirley, that is wonderful news! I am SO pleased to hear that. It is sometimes possible to stop, sometimes not. (Depends on the individual animal.) Try cutting the dose down slowly. If the rash doesn’t come back, cut down further, until you are using the minimum dose that keeps the rash away. It might be nothing, it might be half the original dose, or you might have to keep giving at the existing dose. Good luck.

Dear Beryl, just an update on Roxy. She’s been on the allergy formula for a week now, together with one cortisone tablet per day. She’s doing very well, there has definitely been an improvement since she’s started taking the formula. Even on one cortisone tablet per day she still used to lick and bite her paws and rub her face. That has stopped almost completely, and her skin is now just slightely pink, not red anymore. Saw the vet last night for her check-up. He is reluctant to take her off the cortisone just yet, prescribed another 30 tablets. But he says the allergy formula is a very good product, I should continue with it because it is making a difference. I hope to wean her of the cortisone eventually.

    Hi Beryl,
We saved a pavement special (smallish dog about five years ago, unbeknown to us she had two broken legs, the one knitted together and the other was operated on, she is super super intelligent but licks, licks, and licks her pores and bites them as well. She is on a mild dose of Prednisone which as the vet says gives her some form of comfort, but to no avail as she still bites at her toes and licks. I saw your ad in the SA Pet Pages, then went onto google to eventually get more info and comments on your product. Gracie is also on the Vets Choice Light as we don’t want her to pick up weight due to her fragile sticks of legs that she has, I was going to take her off biscuits and just try chicken, rice and lentils, till I saw your add. She also takes one Canine Joint recovery a day. Your valued opinion on your product to give to Gracie would be appreciated.

    Hi,

My mother has a poodle that started with a little red patch under his front leg. it eventually went bald and slowly started to grow. Then the same thing around his eyes and other areas. He started scratching himself on everything he could and licks the spot under his arm a lot. After many vet visits and a vet change there were two diagnosis; initially allergies and then mange. He is currently being treated for mange but the vet says it will take 3 months before any real improvement shows. In the meantime my mother is constantly upset as her little dog is uncomfortable and still itchy. Some days worse then others. Will this product help and can it be used with mange medication?

Justine, the honest answer is I am not sure whether Allergy Formula will help. With allergies, it usually does help. With mange – I haven’t tried it for mange ever. But yes, it is probably worth trying either way. And it will be fine to take it together with the mange medication.

We desperately want to help our 7year old Boxer(Male) with his skin allergey and avoid him taking the prescribed Prednisone. (currently 1 every second day. Last winter we managed to cut out the coritsone completely for a few months. We also give him 2 Vital Omega 3&6 Oil capsules daily) He chews at his feet constantly, to the point where they become inflamed, the vet suggested we use Bactroban for the inflamation, this really does help. His skin is sensitive to touch, rubs himself on the carpet, bed, couches constantly. We find that it is much worse in the Summer and when he gets excited. Would the use of your Allery Formula be recommendable?

A dog of mine was coughing for almost 3 months (apparently caused by some allergy, not kennel cough) . I tried allergexs and after consulting the vet and buying various products was at last recommended a low dosage of cortizone

Knowing what this could do I tried to avoid using the product. At last used it for 3 days and then slowly returned to even smaller dosages. As expected the dog was still coughing. A friend recommended Allergy Formula and after 3 days the dog was fine.

Thanks to the new product which helped my loving dog and at last took away my stress.

Since this product is also recommended for itching and some of my friends tried everything to solve their problem I am going to recommend Allergy Formula. Why use cortizone?

The allergy formula is AMAZING, works like a charm and now we are so happy that we have something herbal to give to kiera for her reaction!

The Allergy formula has helped our dog, her hair has started to grow back on her chest and under her chin, she still seems to get itchy, but I guess that is something that will always happen. I can really recomend your product.

We’re on the third container of “Allergy Formula” and it seems to be working. Jock does not scratch as much as he used to and his fur is growing where it had fallen out.

We’ll carry on using it into the summer as this is when it seems to be the worst. Hopefully he will carry on improving.
Will let you know his progress.

I do see a good improvement on my dog’s health as a whole. She is more energetic now, and her eye shines. It’s an obvious change for the better.

The Herbal Pet Allergy formula although does not takes away her allergy, it does seem to relieve her itching as she seems more relaxed at night (slept through the night and not waking up to scratch).

My dog is doing absolutely wonderful!!! Not a sign of his allergy, and we have put him on your joint formula as well, with great results. I have recommended your product to every one of my friends who have dogs.

This has worked wonders on my Australian shepherd she no longer scratches or bites and all the hair is growing back. Thank you for such a great product as if I had taken her to the vet they would have put her on cortisone and I will not use it.

I have been very happy with the results. Gemma, our Dalmatian, has made it this far without having to take cortisone – a major feat! She does have slight skin irritations on her back but nowhere near to what it was like in years gone by.

Beryl, again, a winner. Max (2months) has been on this for past 2 weeks and the change in his coat and skin is amazing. Our runt township puppy is much happier!
Lili on it as well and even her coat is now even better!!!!

I was dubious about another allergy product, but thought to give yours a fair trial as I have each of the other “wonder” oils, powders etc that were recommended in the past by various people from vets to a border collie rescue club, for similar skin allergy problems. So far nothing has improved my dog’s skin condition like your allergy formula. I will definitely be forwarding your products / website on to others with problem-skin-animals seeking a more natural method of control to ease their pet’s allergies.

Found this allergy formula at World of Cats and Dogs expo at the Northgate dome. We have a Rottweiler who scratches a lot and were looking for a solution. It is incredible, she has no more dry/raw skin and NO MORE scratching.

I just wanted to let you know that my cat has been on the allergy formula for 5 weeks and the improvement is excellent! He is scratching a lot less and where he had bald patches, the hair is now growing back beautifully. He is also shedding a lot less hair compared to before. The other perk is that he has completely livened up. Although he is about 6yrs old, he is running around and playing like a kitten again. This is great because he is a bit on the porky side J
