“Where are you going?” We asked
“To dance with the angels.” He replied.

Our beautiful Gabe left this world this afternoon after enriching our lives with so muchlove and joy and then his new parents for the past 8 months. Gabe left only knowing love, kindness and compassion. He only knew a soft bed and a warm heart and a full tummy.

We did not fail you my boy. I know that and I know that you know that. Look down on us and help us to help others like we helped you. Thank you for teaching us patience. Thank you for showing us strength and thank you for choosing us and Charmaine and PJ to help you.

Sleep sweetly gorgeous boy. Keep on bouncing from cloud to cloud and shining down on us from your star. Heaven is richer for having you in it.

Gabriel was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor that compromised his life. After doing all that could be done for him, the decision was taken to let him go to sleep.

  1. May Gabe frolic on! How humane to have a beloved pet slide safely and peacefully away.
I had a little white fluffy mix with an adorable black button nose who looked like a cartoon bear from behind. She had a heart condition that became too much for her so we gave her a sedative and then as she lay in my arms, white eyelashes drooping dreamily, our vet put her gently to sleep.
For once I didn’t feel guilty.
