I initially formulated this product to help horses with Sweet Itch. Since then, I've had a lot of feedback from customers regarding all sorts of issues. It does seem to help whenever an overactive immune system is causing problems.

for horses needing help to maintain healthy hooves in all seasons
03 · THE FORMULATION
Citrus bioflavonoids work by calming overactive immune responses, and lowering inflammation linked to skin and respiratory issues.
Brewer’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a yeast and is the source of various vitamins and minerals.
Flavonoids, such as Aspalathin (unique to Rooibos) and other components of Rooibos have been shown to fight cell damage and calm allergic responses.
Healthy horses make their own vitamin C in the liver, but sick, stressed, or older horses dealing with chronic allergies often benefit from extra support.
Spirulina can help with allergies in horses by acting as a natural anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antihistamine. It helps shift the immune response away from allergic reactions, easing symptoms like coughing, headshaking, and itchy skin.
Correcting a deficiency in these minerals can support a healthy immune response and skin/coat integrity, potentially reducing a horse's susceptibility to severe allergic reactions.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that reduces cellular oxidative stress and helps to calm the immune system's inflammatory response.
Echinacea has shown significant bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory effects in humans.

I have been using Immune Mix, in conjunction with Itch Mix on my WB gelding. He arrived from JHB as a 4,5 year old stallion in October to the heat of the lowveld. A month later he was castrated and lost a lot of condition as well as developing bad itchy skin, rubbing himself raw in places. His first summer was bad and I started him on Immune Mix initially, then added Itch Mix a few months later. We are just through his second summer and I have a shiny, happy horse. He still rubs himself on trees in his paddock, but has not had any raw patches like last year. I have had his blood tested and he is allergic to Dust Mites and the pollen from Cynodon Dactylon, so with these products, I’ll manage his allergies during summer.
