A few months ago, I was scrolling through Twitter when I came across an invitation for small businesses to enter a Pick n Pay competition called Boost Your Biz. The prize, for 25 companies, was to become a supplier to Pick n Pay.
Not rating my chances too highly, but being an incorrigible optimist, I entered. Imagine my surprise when we were selected as part of the top 50 and then part of the final top 24!
What followed was a whirlwind process of training, presentations and more learning than I thought I was capable of. We were taken to Cape Town, we met incredible people like Suzanne and Raymond Ackerman and others. And, in the process, us 24 small business owners became firm friends.
Then, finally, we launched our products into Gauteng Pick n Pays this week.
Phew. 🙂 🙂 🙂
This is the list of Pick n Pays that the products are in, so far.

Hello Beryl. I’ve been using every pet as a supplement. One of my dogs has been diagnosed with congestive heart disease and need a no sodium supplement. I had a look but couldn’t see any evidence of sodium on the ingredients list. Please can you confirm that every pet is sodium free. Thanks Claire
Hi Claire. There is no added Sodium in the Everypet. But there is Sodium – it is present at 0.44% according to our lab test. Ask your vet if that is ok or not…
What can one say by WOW and super well done. Nothing ventured, nothing gained my Mom always says.
Thanks, Samantha. 🙂
That is fantastic, congrats Beryl.
Please come to Pick n Pay in Constantia or Steenberg!
Thanks, Michelle. And yes, we’re on our way. Hopefully early next year….
